Half a century of looking after Santa Clarita's seniors is worth celebrating. The SCV Senior Center marked its 50th anniversary this month, tracing back to its 1976 founding as the Santa Clarita Valley Committee on Aging.

Today the Center runs more than a dozen programs with over 110 staff and some 300 volunteers a month, and it celebrated with an open house and concert on October 10 at its Bella Vida location, 27180 Golden Valley Road, Santa Clarita.
