Old Town Newhall is getting a new table to gather around.

Spaghetti Western Restaurant & Bar is under construction at Newhall Crossing, 22520 Lyons Avenue, next to the Laemmle Theatre — and the restaurant says it is about 8 to 10 weeks from opening, with main construction complete. The kitchen plans pizza, pasta, and salads alongside grilled meats, including steak Florentine and pollo al mattone, with a Sunday brunch to follow.

The team behind it, AJ Gilbert and Martha Madison, is inviting neighbors in early: a "Founding 600" offer gives founding members dining credit, priority reservations, and an invitation to a preview weekend before the doors open to everyone.

Downtown Newhall keeps building its dining row, and an Italian house with a western wink sounds like it belongs here.
